Not working too well for the US. It's called the EB-5 program. Invest $500,000.00 and up in certain places and it gets you a green card, and if all investment promises are kept, a path to US citizenship!

I suspect the problem is there is nothing nice enough for the target market for $200,000. The people these islands are targeting want very upscale places. You can't buy a fancy house for $200,000 on the islands or most anywhere. Have you seen Househunters?
