We purchased our second resale through Sumday. We used the power of attorney form and Greatway for their title services.

We made this purchase three weeks after making an eBay purchase (not Sumday.) We have had our account set up with Wyndham for about three weeks now. My first timeshare account is still not set up.

I hope to purchase again through Sumday. It was quick and the communication was great!

Glad things went well for you, but I have never before even heard of "Greatway".
Is "Greatway" merely an "in-house" closing function within SumDay, or is it an independent entity?

I understand Greatway , is Sumday's closing company. Separate company but in the same building and owned by the same folks as Sumday.
I purchased from Sumday several years ago and Greatway was not involved, and then again about a year ago and got the Greatway closing documents.

They required a POA which I had never run into before and so I called Sumday and that was where I got the info.

I have complete faith in Sumday and when they assured me Greatway was effectively a sister company I proceeded.

I doubt I would have signed what appeared to be a blanket POA without that assurance.

Different in house closing than their old in house closing.

I've used them. It was fine. I don't like signing the POA not because I am worried about it, it is just a pain to have to get something notarized as a buyer when I've done a dozens closings without the POA and there as never been a problem. I would rather wait until there was a problem (which will likely never happen) then have to bother from the get go.
