We recently stayed at the Four Seasons Scottsdale. We were very impressed and DH was especially impressed with the steam room there. Just curious, which other timeshares have steam rooms?

Do you mean steam room in the "fitness center" or in the condo unit itself...?

I know (some of) the newer "North Hill" condo units at Smugglers Notch in VT have a steam "room" directly in the unit itself (essentially, the shower turns into a steam room). Pure luxury after a day of outdoor fun and adventure (especially in winter).

The very first timeshare my parents ever purchased (over 30+ years ago)(also at Smugglers Notch) had a shared sauna that happened to be ten (10) feet right out the front door of our fixed week assigned unit...and the other units never used it (probably because they didn't know it was there) so it was like a private sauna...

    Cheers!

I'm referring to a steam room like you would find in a fitness center. Our room at the Four Seasons Scottsdale was probably the closest one to the fitness center. It was never crowded there...as a matter of fact that whole section (residence club) was not very crowded at all.

Waters Edge in Connecticut has one. Powhatten Plantation in Virginia has a steam shower in the units- at least the one we stayed in.

We now have a steam shower in our home.

Steam Room - moist heat, foggy. Sauna dry heat. We prefer Saunas.

At home I drop various essential oils into the steam dispenser and it is great. If you have a cold, for example, you can put in eucalyptus oil to clear out your sinuses. Or, if I feel stressed I put in lavender oil.

I like saunas also. Our resort at Innseason Pollard Brook has a sauna.

All the European Marriott resorts have steam rooms. I like the ones at Mallorca and France, the one at Playa Andaluza is a bit poor, likewise their sauna.

Los Abrigados in Sedona has both a sauna and a steam room (with eucalyptus steam no less!) at the fitness center.

Westgate Park City (it's VERY nice--not at all like other Westgates) has a large steam room by the pool/activity center (plus there is a steam shower in the master bath of the units).

The Ridge Tahoe has a large steam room in the men's and women's locker rooms of their change rooms. They are infused with Eucalyptus. It's my happy place.

I also just experienced the in-room steam showers at Westgate Park City. Lovely. I don't think I ever took such long showers!

Wow, lots of suggestions. Thank you, everyone. I have not been to any of the places mentioned, except for Los Abrigados. I don't remember them having a steam room but it's been over 10 years ago since I've been there.
