Actually I was thinking that it was time for Slip and his wife to focus on themselves and their new life.

Much as I enjoy participating in the posts, now that they've moved to Hawaii, their posts don't really have anything to do with timesharing. So other than making new posts in the Lounge, there isn't really any reason to keep a thread going in the Hawaii Timesharing forum.

But yes - Jeff, its time to check in. We miss you. ;)

It's been fun participating in the condo search, the new job offer, the sale and the move, but now that Jeff & Mrs. Jeff are kind of settled into ongoing life with the new job for Jeff and commuting to the second home on Molokai are going to be more day-to-day mundane.

I have enjoyed the journey and looked forward to each update, but it's time to settle into the new life. I would tire of posting every time we went to a new restaurant or the wind changed direction. We don't want to abandom them, but know that they have lives to live outside TUG (could that even be possible?).

We will consider that no news is good news. Take care!

Jim

It's been 4 days since you've posted. Don't you know you have fans out here?

You're living the dream, you have responsibilities to report.

I’m still here. :)

Haven’t been doing much to keep a thread going like the others have said.

I have to work this Saturday. The corporation is having a meeting and all the employees have to attend. First time they have done this. It’s the Corporations 50th anniversary too.

We probably won’t be doing much until after my audits the week of October 7th. After that, I may take a day off and go around the island a bit. When I make a thread I was thinking of still posting it I. The Hawaii group. It may have some activities that others coming to timeshares maybe interested in. If not I’ll post in the lounge.

I do have a couple updates. Our auction finished well and we received our check today. The showings on the house just started and we have three this weekend. So that’s the only thing we have to finish out. We just have to get the house sold. But we’re off to a good start.

Job is going well. There’s a lot of different things here like mostly shipping containers and not product coming in on trucks.

So there won’t be big long threads anymore but you’ll still hear from me.

Thanks for sharing your adventures. I’ve enjoyed your threads.
Please also share your reflections on living in Hawaii full time as the newest wears off (maybe 6+ months from now). I’m especially interested in condo living in Waikiki. I won’t mind trying it for a couple of years
