Hi Carol,

For the last 4-5 years, I used it as a low cost II trader with some really great trades in California, Florida and Las Vegas. I think the same principle applies to both booking and exchanges, that is, do it well in advance. Last year I even saw multiple opportunities for summer weeks on II (for the same resort, SBP). You may want to wait until end of December/beginning of January, as many people pay their maintenance fees and then transfer their weeks to II (that's what happened last year, I think). Don't forget to start an ongoing request to increase your chances of success; and include other resorts in the area such as Marriott.
