Let me start this by saying, I am not looking to rent. I have points. I want to use them. I can't retrieve my original post, so let me try to compose it again.

I am looking for SUGGESTIONS FOR a resort to stay at (again, using my owner points) that has availability Christmas week. 3-4 nights at least, someplace warm because I live in Winter.

I have tried San Diego, Orlando, Texas, Vegas, California, but nowhere has several days in a row. So I am thinking of Mexico, for myself (single mom) and family. Need someplace safe, that has easy transport to/from the airport since I'm not renting a car.

I was looking at a place in Cozumel but the reviews were so-so. I need help/suggestions. Yes, I know, trying to find something weeks beforehand is dumb, but I have some unexpected time and it would be nice to use my points for a vacation, rather than stay-cation in the cold.

I have gone with my sister-in-Law and my friend and felt safe. We use taxis and don’t party. My favorite place is The Grand Bliss and The Grand Mayan in Riveria Maya. Well guarded and taxis can only get to the hotel lobbies.

I guess your options are either cozumel or 1 of the 3 (really only two worthwhile) in mazatlan. Cozumel resort is small but nice. Not too much within walking distance.

Mazatlan is relatively nice and walking distance to a lot.

Both are optional all inclusive. Just pay for 24 hours. If you time it right that can include two dinners and 1 night and almost 1 full day of una mas por favor.

Hi Gwynn. It will be tough to line up something really nice this close to move-in. We really like Mazatlan and know that Sun Country regularly serves it from MSP. A car is absolutely unnecessary. The weather is great. If you need any personal guidance just click my blue username and ask.

Are you looking to use Wyndham vacation points in Wyndham, Wyndham points through RCI, or Wyndham hotel reward points?

I have Wyndham vacation points, and 30K banked in RCI, so either of those would work. I'm not finding much available. Might have to resort to some kind of Plan B.
