[2019] Scammed by Palmera Vacation Club?

I wish I would have checked Palmera out before we bought. We have had Vacation Village for years and were told all the lies by Palmera about how it's worth more and we will have more availability because Hilton Head is small and they can't build anymore. So we decided to "sell" our Vacation Village at Parkway timeshare and can't even book our old timeshare with Palmera points. We can't even get back to Hilton Head with our points! Everything the people said in the 2017 thread on this site is true for us. Has anyone had this issue and resolved it? Hired a lawyer that helped? Quit making payments? They said they will have "upper management" call me tomorrow after their meeting, (we'll see) but I've been stewing for 4 days and haven't been able to talk to anyone.

In November of 2020 the original poster indicated that they had stopped paying and they took a hit on their credit report so I am guessing they didn't rescind.

I don't believe they have been on TUG since that time.
