“Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will offer Youth Go Light fares on flights between the U.S. and Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, beginning Oct. 31.
Go Light enables travelers who don't plan to check bags to fly at a discount. The fare class otherwise offers same service as a standard SAS economy ticket, which the airline calls SAS Go.
SAS Youth Tickets are a discounted fare class available to travelers ages 12 to 25. With Youth Go Light, young travelers between the U.S. and the Nordic region will be able to take advantage of the SAS youth fares, and then further reduce their ticket price if they choose the Go Light option.
SAS also will expand its non-youth Go Light availability on U.S. routes to include one-stop Finland service on Oct. 31. Until now, the fare class has only been available on nonstop routes to Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
SAS's U.S. destinations include New York, Chicago, Boston, Miami, Washington Dulles, Los Angeles and San Francisco.”
