I have been a RCI weeks member since 1982 but due to health issues I have not exchanged or traveled in the last 3 years.
I'm feeling better and trying to use my credits but find it really hard to find anything available.
I'm looking 1-2 years in advance and only finding studios in areas I would have found 2-br 3 years ago.
Is the weeks system dead and only points system owners work in today's RCI?
I find more available 1-6 months before check-in now.
I currently have a 179 credits that i'm trying to use. I no longer own a actual timeshare but I have extended my RCI membership and credits so they are good thru 2020.
I'm just looking for advise and the experience of others in the know.
I have been out of the RCI game for three years and feel totally lost now.

Place an ongoing request. When you look for an instant match you are seeing leftovers.

Also make sure with the ongoing request, you choose a week that has a high enough tpu value to get the trade you want. If not pay to combine your weeks. Even though you have 179 tpu’s they might be broken into, for example, 10 individual trades worth about 17 tpu’s each. At 17 tpu’s it might not be enough to get the week you want if RCI requires 35 tpu’s.
