I’m finishing up our Rescind letter and I wasn’t sure if I also need to return all the paper materials (member book etc) we didn’t receive any additional bonus items for signing except points for 2018. Also do I need to give back the tour gifts? Even if we said no we would have received those items...

Thank you

First of all, make sure you send the letter by the method that is in your contract. You should have a proof of delivery receipt. Just send the letter (making sure anybody who signed the purchase agreement also signs the letter), the gifts are yours unless otherwise stated somewhere in the contract. Some resorts give tablets (I-pads) as member catalogues which need to go back but can be sent the cheapest method available. You might be wise to send the member book back in case they try to bill you for it. I would think that any other gifts would be yours to keep, but others may chime in to say no. You could mention in your letter that promotional materials are being sent under separate cover.

Congratulations in finding TUG and the knowledge to save yourself thousands of dollars.

Keep the gifts. Send back the promotional junk. Glad you found us in time. Welcome!
