Home from trip and wanted to post parking research. We dropped our luggage off at the resort and then went to parking lot. Short walk back.

Took a lot of talking, but I finally convinced hubby to park at Harrah Casino self parking. Both of us got new players cards. Mine was from Harrahs opening weekend in New Orleans in October 1999 I believe.
If you gamble for 30 minutes per day your vehicle is parked for each 24 hours your parking is FREE.
1st day I gambled 45 minutes on penny slots cost me 1.00 and even got husband a beer.

2nd day husband gambled using my players card of course he does not have patience to gamble on penny slots. His 45 minutes cost 20.00.

3rd day I played penny slots again this time it cost 2.00.

So 3 days parking was 23.00. When you exit the lot after your stay you present you ticket stub, players card, driver license. Easy Peezy

If we would have parked beside the resort it would have cost over 90.00 for the 3 days.

Around the holidays you have to be careful that one of the days is not special event parking - when they charge everyone but the high-level players Club members (?Diamond or Platinum) for parking.

It is a great option to those that want it but you have to figure in the time as well as the projected gambling loss. It is usually at least an hour getting there, putting in the time, and getting back, not to mention whatever activity it is replacing. Some would rather spend the extra $40-$60 and have the 3 hours not be disrupted.

Near the sea.
I like that idea. We walked past the casino most days.
