Owner Services Holidays / Booking Question

I am starting to plan for making my first reservation since purchasing several resale weeks this year. My desired check-in date for 2019 is Saturday, January 26. I plan on calling in 13 months in advance, so if I understand correctly I normally would be able to call in 13 months in advance of the first check-in day of that weekend -- that would be December 24, 2017 (13 months ahead of Thursday, Jan 24, 2018). That is a Sunday, and Christmas Eve, so I assume Owner Services will be closed. I assume they are also closed on December 25 for Christmas.

1. Given the above, am I correct in assuming that the earliest I can call in to book is therefore Tuesday, December 26th?

2. In addition, does anyone have a list of which holidays Owner Services is closed on each year? Are they only open Monday - Friday, or can I place a phone reservation on a Saturday?

3. And finally, if I am booking online (rather than by phone for a 13-month advance reservation), can I do so even on holidays/weekends?

Thanks in advance for any advice! I might be over-preparing a bit, but with this being my first reservation experience with MVC, and with all the posts I've read on here about folks having trouble landing their desired weeks, I suppose I've become a bit paranoid.

The best way to check the booking date is go to the MVC Owners Web Page, click on "Education & Owner Resources" at the top, then on that page click "Helpful Tools" in the menu on the left side of the page, the "When Can I Reserve?" You elect your resort from the list that appears, then input your desired check-in date, and the system will tell you the day the 12-month and 13-month windows open.

Thanks. I did check there before posting, but it gave me December 24th as the date to call in. Since that is on a Sunday, I assume I then wait until the next non-holiday business day (in this case Tuesday December 26) to call in?

Are you planning on booking at least 2 weeks, either consecutive or concurrent, at the 13-month mark? If not, you will have to wait until 12 months out to book your week.

Yes, good point. I am planning to reserve 2 consecutive weeks, I should've mentioned that in my original post.

Funny, because I did the same thing -- put in your January 26, 2019 date and it gave me Tuesday, December 26. I used Ocean Pointe since that was the first one listed in your profile block under your avatar. I just tried it again with Summit Watch and it gave me Monday, December 25. Weird.

I just plugged January 26, 2019 for both those resorts again and now see the same results as you. Seems like there is a small glitch in the web app, at least for Summit Watch.

Not applicable to my current scenario, but for future reference: If the 12-month booking window happened to fall on a holiday or Sunday, can you still book online at 9am on that holiday or Sunday, or does the inventory not get released until 9am on the next non-holiday / business day?
