My wife and I will be on OBX from Oct 28 to Nov 4. Will Ocracoke be worth a day trip during this time? From what I have been reading, a lot will be closed.

- Joined TUG '96, Wyndham Grand Palms AKA, Presidential Villas at Plantation Resort, 3 bed lockout.
this is true for the most part. it will still be a nice visit nontheless. will be a nice easy drive and ride on the ferry as well.. go have fun. 
You will enjoy the drive, the various lighthouses, the small villages and the ride on the ferry. It is an all day trip, make sure it is a nice sunny day.
