Just returned from a weeks stay at Ocean Blvd in a 3 bedroom ocean front lower level unit in tower 2, 836. It was simply sad and disappointing the utter filthy condition of the living room furniture; sofa and two chairs. The arms were were so black and greasy that we were forced to place towels on them to avoid having to touch them. We like Ocean Blvd and have stayed there several times and have never experienced these conditions before.

Oftentimes we have friends and extended join us on our stays. This time my wife remarked that she was so glad they we did not invite friends as she would have been so embarrassed. Don't quite understand why you would allow what I consider a nice resort to fall into such neglect.

Did you let the resort manager know? Sometimes they need things brought to their attention. The summer season is fast approaching and the resort needs all the units in good condition.

I think beach areas are hard to keep up. Sand and wet people, etc. No excuses, but I think challenging. A couple years back we stayed in a presidential unit at Ocean Walk (Daytona Beach) and I felt the same way. They were just getting to renovate, so I think we were seeing it at it's worst. But certainly disappointing.

A large resort like Ocean Blvd (4 towers) has updating going on almost continuously. The unit you were in maybe scheduled for updating or a deep clean in the very near future.

On the flip side of this I just returned from Midtown 45. Very nice resort stayed in a 1 Bed room that was well maintained. Along with a great location this resort had very courteous & helpful personnel. I would highly recommend this resort to any others.
