The other 9 holes are not expected to be in operation until November. The recreational facility is closed and not expected to open fully until December. Some limited serviced may be available in 2 weeks.”

“Bald Head Island is still recovering from Hurricane Florence. The Hammocks office is open with limited hours of operation Mon-Fri 9am-4pm only. We continue to work our way through the property house-by-house to assess, catalogue and remediate the damages from Hurricane Florence. As you would expect with water intrusion, the problems seem to grow by the day. Looking ahead, repairs to The Hammocks will include sheetrock and paint repairs, trim and paneling replacement, hardwood floor replacement and roof repairs in most buildings, as well as some new roofs. We have met with our insurance adjusters and contractors to schedule all needed work. Due to the time-consuming nature of the repairs, we anticipate The Hammocks being closed for the foreseeable future.”

“Now that we have been able to fully assess the damage caused by Hurricane Florence, Festiva's Atlantic Beach Resort in North Carolina will remain closed through the first quarter of 2019 with an estimated reopen date of April 1, 2019. We will continue to reach out directly to those impacted guests via email, phone, and on our blog and Facebook page as soon as we get more updates.”

“This information is being provided to you along with the following DISCLAIMER:

*The New Bern Resorts are now open. Recreational services are not available at this time due to damage to all aspects of the facility. The indoor and outdoor pools are closed, the fitness room is closed, the game room is closed. There is no access to the facility and completion date for repairs is targeted for the end of 2018 or beginning of 2019. Golf course is now open to walk-ins only and cash only. Debris continues to line the streets of the community and may present issues for those with compromised health.”
