New owner, newbee question.

I have 5,000 HGVC pts and when i log into RCi it says I have 15,000 points. is there a 3 to 1 conversion from HGVC to RCI? which leads me to my second question, so if it costs 3,500 points in RCI for a reservation is that deducted from the 5,000 HGVC points or the 15,000 RCI point balance??:wall:

The RCI balance will show all available credits. In HGVC, all available credits for this year would include 2013, 2014 and 2015.

I assume the credits would come out of this year's allotment just as booking a HGVC stay.

-- If you book a later-year's stay, points are deducted from the current year first.
-- Thus, you can effectively "rescue" those points w/o paying the rescue fee.
If you cancel after the current-year, you can save those points w- an RCI deposit.
