Hi
I’m looking for accommodation in New York City from 3rd May 2019 for up to 10 nights. Would obviously like Manhattan but will consider other boroughs too. Must have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Can stay less than 10 days or can can move between two or more places if availability is tight. We have a flexible itinerary but must have two bedrooms.
Nah help is much appreciated

Just a guess here, but you probably will have to post this specific request in the forum that does NOT have the $115 per night maximum price. Last I stayed in NYC, costs for a studio unit were $300 a night. Not sure anyone is going to find a two bedroom two bath unit for $115 per night in NYC.

Good luck.

.....and for MUST be a 2BR, of which there is a handful in all of the systems in NYC. Good luck even finding one at ANY price.

The only HGVC in NYC that is a 2 bdrm is HCNY but you will be saying a lot of "Hail Mary's" to get that for $115 a night when studios go for $300.

Probably best to look at AirBnB's if they haven't made them illegal in NYC.

After reading lengthy discussion on similar topic, my understanding was a person could post such a message, thereby opening themselves to a private message from owner offering higher priced unit. Did I get it wrong? If I am incorrect, then we should offer a standard "good luck" as a reply.

Ah. I hadn’t thought about that. That would actually work, although it might be outside of the letter of the law.

What you do off TUG is your own business, but if you post a response here on the forum, you shouldn't respond unless you can offer $115 per night. Thems the rules...

*Be aware that some folks may be irritated if you contact them privately with a higher priced rental.

Thanks Denise.

I appreciate understanding the clarification. It’s a reasonable approach that allows a member to ask for a rental in a “higher rent” district and receive private messages.
