I am new to Exchanges, not member yet of Interval or similar, trying to understand my options before becoming one.
I own a Gold week at Playa Andaluza - Marriott in Spain, which we used for 7 years as the place is great and full of nice places to visit nearby however this year we decided to explore other locations, we have already booked the 27/05 for one week. Can you help me to understand what is the best way to exchange my week? I don't need to exchange it for the same week but probably looking for anywhere in the world during children school holidays but the resorts has to be similar to Marriott.
Will you advice me what is the best way to start? is Interval the best option?

Hi MyPlayaAndaluza,

I would ask this question in the Marriott section. You should get help there with your question. I myself don't know anything about Marriott.

I believe you have made a reservation for week 21 (May 27, 2017). From the resort directory for Playa Andaluza, Travel Demand Index link, I see that week 21 has a Travel Demand Index of 125, on a scale of 50 - 150. That is a good week.

In Interval, Marriott owners have a preference period of approximately 21 days in which other Marriott properties are visible only to them. That means when Marriott resorts are deposited into Interval, for the first 3 weeks, only other Marriott owners have the ability to exchange into those resorts. That is why Interval is the best choice for exchanging Marriott properties.

Which resorts would you be interested in?
