I have been looking through the 3 resorts at myrtle beach and trying to figure out which one was ideal for a 1br booking. Any suggestions / comparisons of advantages or disadvantages of them?

It looks like the ocean 22 may or may not have balcony but has partial or no view, Anderson has view but further away from "action", no idea on other resort.

    Free parking at ocean 22.
Unknown for Anderson or other one.

    Any advice is appreciated.

Have you looked at the Sticky information? I know that Ocean Enclave isn’t there yet but the other two should be. AOC is on 26th street, Ocean 22 is on 22nd street and Ocean Enclave is on 16th street. AOC also has parking similar to Ocean 22. Parking is 1 block away in a garage.

@Jason245, the sticky for Ocean 22 has pictures of both the rooms and the amenities. It’s one of the reasons we booked there over Anderson Ocean Club. Take a look at them. The pictures and the Tug reviews were really important in our decision. Now, we booked a 2 bedroom, so we have different needs than you.

Just got told that I need a 2br cause we are bringing someone else with us. So Anderson it is. Anyone know how parking works there?

I have seen some conflicting information.

It has been awhile since we have stayed at AOC, so I might not remember this correctly (but hopefully someone will correct if wrong). Anyways, there is a parking garage about 1 block away. You can pull into AOC and there are about 3 spaces to unload your stuff for short term parking. I believe all HGVC member will get one valet parking pass with other cars having a self-parking pass. If you are non-HGVC, I have no idea.

You can call (843-213-5340) the resort to be sure.
