Hello,
  1. Has anyone that booked an Encore package with a cruise as the perk?
  2. How did the process work?
  3. What cruise line, ship and destination did you use the trip on?
  4. Did you upgrade cabin levels?
  5. If you went on NCL, were you able to upgrade through NCL bid process or did you have to go through the travel service?

As far as the Encore sales meeting goes:
  1. How long did the presentation take?
  2. Was it the same as a normal sales presentation?
  3. If you didn't buy did they offer another Encore package?
  4. If you did buy points what pricing did they offer, current or revert back to the prior sales presentation price point.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,
  1. Has anyone that booked an Encore package with a cruise as the perk?
Yes. Carnival Cruise Line (CCL).
  1. How did the process work?
We received our cruise voucher after the Encore sales meeting during our Encore stay. No value was stated on it. There is a unique number on the voucher you give the booking agent with Marriott's outside travel provider. How much the voucher is worth is based on how much cheaper the agent says the cruise costs with the voucher versus without.
  1. What cruise line, ship and destination did you use the trip on?
CCL. Southern Carribean. 8 day on Carnival Vista.
  1. Did you upgrade cabin levels?
No. It doesn't really work that way since you are not redeeming VC points. The Encore voucher provided a 'discount' to our cash purchased cruise.
  1. If you went on NCL, were you able to upgrade through NCL bid process or did you have to go through the travel service?
NA.

As far as the Encore sales meeting goes:
  1. How long did the presentation take?
Normal length. Up to 90 minutes depending on the sales person.
  1. Was it the same as a normal sales presentation?
Yup.
  1. If you didn't buy did they offer another Encore package?
Nope.
  1. If you did buy points what pricing did they offer, current or revert back to the prior sales presentation price point.
Prices are retro to the date you booked the Encore package originally. The cost of our Encore package ($2k) would also be applied toward any points we purchased at that lower retro price.

Thanks for your help.
