ONLY if this is your own owner week that you have reserved.

You can not lock off or rent Interval International exchanged weeks.

June 29 is just over a month away. Is there a time limit to request a lock off?

All units at Ocean Pointe are lockoff capable. However, that doesn't always mean they will let you lock off. I have heard of restrictions at certain resorts based on occupancy limits that they may not always allow a lock off. Perhaps there are only a certain number of units that they will allow to be locked off for a given week. I suspect if every unitat Ocean Pointe was locked off at the same time, parking would be a HUGE problem.

Can you lock off after you have made a reservation like this? I thought you had to lock off your unit and then make your reservations.

You can do it after, depending on availability.

Within 60 days I am not sure they will allow it even if there is availability. I think they would technically consider it a cancellation and rebook which is not allowed within 60 days. If you are not enrolled the lock off fee is $90 when the first part of the lock off is booked.

They will definitely allow it as all the Villas at Ocean Pointe are lock offs (If they weren't all lock offs then that could be an issue in it of itself).

Note that within the 60 day time frame they can't do it electronically within their system. They need to speak to a Supervisor and do it manually, but it can and still can be accomplished.

I've had to have it done myself within a few days of check in. They don't like doing it as it takes time and they will do it for you (especially if you're nice to them :whooopie:).
