My girlfriend has asked me to come and ask the Hyatt experts. Her realtor told her that Hyatt will probably not recognize her as the owner of her unit till The end of January since they have 30 business days for the deed to transfer over and she is worried that she will be late paying the 2019 MF’s.

I told her that I would ask you guys if she would have to pay a late fee. I figure if they don’t recognize her as the owner till the end of January how they charge late fee?

Any help will be appreciated

While I agree with Daman, your girlfriend cannot be expected to pay 2019 maintenance fees on a resale unit until she is legally recognized as the owner and a deed is conveyed in her name. There is no way she should be charged a late fee. That said, since the ownership change into Marriott is still in transition, Daman's advice is sound.

I spoke with my closer about same situation. However, I do have a card on file with Hyatt. They are going to send letter in with recorded deed and transfer fee signed by me authorizing them to charge my fees to that card as part of transfer process.

I have another account in my name, but still haven’t been able to pay dues yet. They told me to call back on 17th If balance still show 0 and I don’t get 2019 Invoice.

Thanks she is all freaked out that it’s going to wreck her credit rating if she gets charged a late fee. Thanks for the info, I’m copying this and sending it to her

I wouldn’t sweat and credit issue.... TS don’t even show on CBR unless you are severely behind.

But I would be pissed if I was charged a late fee.

My first Wyndham account closed 7 days after beginning of the month. I never got anything from them, but called every week to check status. When they finally put it under my name they had the audacity to charge me late fee and 1 time payment credit card fee.

If she gets charged a late fee, that will piss her off and she will pull out all the stops, social media, local news etc... A few years back she had an issue with Best Buy and they gave her a $1,000 GC just to get her to stop bashing them all over social media and she got her issue resolved...thanks for the help
