We are currently at WKORV and headed to HRC Ka’anapali tomorrow. We have heard from two different sources that there is a “new” scam being perpetrated on tourists. (It may not be new, but I haven’t heard of it before.). Local scammers are claiming that tourists are backing into/hitting them in parking lots. Then belligerently confronting the innocent tourist and trying to bully money out of them. Just an FYI...

I guess the collecting the parking lot fee and taking the keys isn't working any more, lol.

Thanks for sharing. We will be there in a few weeks. We haven’t experienced that issue in the past, but will try to be aware. Enjoy HRC.

Best regards.

Another good reason for staying in Honolulu, which you can do without a car.
