For Maui Ocean Club and Ko Olina, do others find President's week rental prices are any higher than prime summer weeks (late June/early July)? Or are the comparable?

(EDIT: Sorry, misread your question, but leaving this for reference)

I had my President's Week Lahaina Tower 2BR OF listed on Vacation Candy since last summer. I saw no movement on any listed Jan-Feb weeks and not many on Redweek. Then, as VC Rep expected, I had two inquiries the first week of January and noticed other listings were being dropped/rented. Value-wise, it was listed at $6300 and rented at $6000, which nets about what Redweek listings were offering, i.e., $5500.

As noted by Mox in another thread, I don't think the rental rate is any better, it's just that there is more demand so it's easier to rent...or I guess harder to get if you are the renter.

It's a very weird market to say the least.
