Hi,

I have a 3 bedroom booked at Marriott ko olina. One person in our party can’t make it. I was considering renting out one bedroom. I would only do so if it’s a lockout. Would the front desk let the renter use their own cc for charging? I wouldn’t want to be responsible for their incidentals.

Thanks!

A 3br lockoff 's to a 2br and studio. There is no 1br, just a studio llckout.

I know that you can add people and front desk will ask if they have charging privledges. You could just tell them that those people donot have priviledges.

I've read that Marriott Mountainside has allowed for a soft lockoff, during slow season. Basically you keep the full reservation and they key the studio for another party, who uses their own CC.

Normally, you would just call Marriott and have them lock it off into two reservations. If you do that, call room control and they may note your original reservation date so you don't lose your priority in the room assignment process.

Is this your own owner resort (either points ownership or weeks ownership) or did you obtain this via an Interval International exchange?

To complete the Q: Because if it's an exchange or getaway through II, you are not permitted to rent out any part of the unit. If you do and are caught, bye bye II account.

When are you going? I've got a April 21 check-in for a 2BR and have been trying to get a 3BR with no luck.
