Marriott Desert Springs Villas II Room Request

Just reserved a 2 bedroom unit for the week of May 3 and was wondering if there are any specific requests I should make when asking about rooms?

For me, I like unit numbers 2275-76. This is in the building directly across from the main pool complex and does have some view of the mountains. If you don't want second floor (no elevators), then it would be 2175-76.

Carlsbadguy, the location that is best for you depends on your interests and the interests of those traveling with you. Are you active? Kids (and ages)? Participate in the resort activities? Can manage stairs? Prefer mountain views? Like a real quiet area? Like golf course views? Like to play basketball?

I would prefer a unit that backs up to the golf course and first or second floor does not matter. Relatively close within walking distance to a pool.

For what it's worth, I've been golf course adjacent twice. First time we almost got decapitated by an errant shot that flew right over us, hit our patio door and ricocheted back onto the course. Last time, I was awakened very early in the morning by the sound of the course mowers. I'll stick with my earlier recommendation.
