As an EOY Marriott owner and an EOY Sheraton owner I have taken up the practice of only maintaining my II membership when I have weeks to trade (I have a corporate Westin and Hyatt II account so I don't need 3rd II account unless I am trading)

I am looking to join II with my Marriott and Sheraton for trading this year. Any advice from tuggers on the best way to do this? Any enrollment discounts or promotions available for new members? Any pitfalls to lookout for?

Make them aware you are interested in rejoining. Call them up and ask the price. It will not be discounted, so thank them and say goodbye. However, they will no doubt want to make sure your contact info is up to date. Then just wait. You will undoubtedly receive a "we want you back" letter within a month.
