Have you noticed that we sometimes use abbreviations in our posts that our newest Tug members may not understand? Please allow me to list a few and see who can provide the full spelling and a brief description of each.

CWA, CWP, MF, ROFR, OP, UDI, VIP, OB, ARP, RCI, PR, WBC, PIC, RT, II, WVO, HOA, SA, WM

Feel free to add other abbreviations that you have seen in this forum. You can provide the spelling and description yourself, or see if others can answer.

Hopefully, this will help those who are new to the site, but too afraid to ask its meaning.

I thought UDI was undivided interest - you own an undivided interest in a specific week for a specific unit rather than an allotment of points that would allow you to use some unit sometime depending on availability, which would be a divided interest in a group of weeks and units.

exactly right "undivided" Ive corrected my post

Ive been making that mistake for the last 7 years but you are mistaken too. Its not for a specific unit or specific week.. You own a fractional interest in a block of rooms, or even the whole resort, For example your deed might say you own 770,000 / 2,345,567,000 of phase 1 of abc resort they make the numerator in that fraction equate to the number of points you are allocated

all you have to do is to read the directory Its all in there

I learned what i know by answering questions posed on tug.. most of the time I didnt know the answer, Heck I wasnt smart enough to ask the question. But I had a directory, So rather than waiting for someone that did know, to answer, Id take out the directory and look it up.
