Has anyone heard any info on how Legends Edge fared during the storm? I'm assuming damage, like everywhere else around there but hoping it is not a total loss.

Facebook page says Management is making their way to the resort today, and they hope to provide an update by 5pm today.

I just looked at a map. I didn't realize Legend's Edge was less than a mile West of Tyndall AFB. Not a good sign, given the widely reported condition of the base.

I took a look at the post-hurricane satellite photos a couple of days ago and the Legends Edge area looked pretty good compared to many nearby areas. The roofs of LE and the surrounding houses all appeared to be intact and there didn't appear to be much debris in the streets, best I could tell. Waiting for the update on the facebook page as well.

Per the facebook page...
Marriott's Legends Edge at By Point remains closed. There is significant wind damage within the Bay Point Community including downed trees and utility lines and structural damage to many homes and buildings. At the time of this post, power had not been restored to the resort area, a boil water notice was in effect and consistent communication continues to be challenging. The damage sustained by the resort included extensive landscaping loss as well as roof damage and damage to HVAC equipment. Remediation steps have been identified and initiated.

It says another update will be posted tomorrow evening (Tuesday the 16th)

Ocean Pointe looked ok last year too but ended up staying closed for a while and spent a fortune on cleanup and repairs. The same thing is going to happen to LE.
