Hello :)

Now I have a reservation from 7/16-7/23 at Grand Islander 1 bedroom villa resort view with 1 king bed at this moment.

I want to change the date which is the 7/15-7/23, so I need just one night which is the 7/15-7/16.

I've called to the HGVC owner services, they said I cannot check the availability only one night so I need to call them.

but the HGVC owner services are closed on weekend, so I am just worried about that...

Now I am trying to check on the 'change reservations' tap now.
If the availability has appeared, can I see them?

Is anyone change the reservation with this methods?

Please let me know.

Thank you.

Wouldn’t you need to just check to see if your entire desired range is available? And then can change into it?

Alternatively on the desktop website, I think you’ll be able to input those dates and see what’s available around. I’ve seen some single days on other resorts when checking.

1. Club Member Services Hours of Operation
... Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. to midnight ET
... Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET

B. Use the "Change" button & input all stay dates.
Try to confirm. If if does, nice. If not, you're SOL.

You know, of course, that you cannot book just one night (3N min).
Try to include the whole period, or book 1-N as a hotel stay.*
HGVC's can be booked thru Hilton Hotels for cash or HH points.

I agree with the fact that you can call guest services at 8 AM Eastern Standard Time and ask them if the night is available. If there is no way to extend the reservation I would suggest you do what we have done in the past when we wanted to add a night or two to our reservation with no possible extension of our existing reservation; Book one hotel night at the Hilton Hawaiian Village using Hilton Honors points if you have them or pay cash if you don't. If there is no availability or you don't want to pay the price, Hilton has 3 lower price hotels in Waikiki with the Doubletree being the closest to the HHV.

If you need an extra night and GI is unavailable, I would go with the Embassy Suites Beachwalk just across the army park down Kalia Street from the Grand Islander. All suites, no resort fees, free breakfast, close to shopping, waikiki restaurants, and some rooms have views of the ocean. Not as plush as GI, pool is more crowded but it's only one night. Good use of the free anniversary night with the Amex Aspire or HH points.

I forgot about the Embassy Suites Beachwalk which is a great alternative. However, when I have needed the extra night or two it either wasn't available or the availability was so scare at Embassy Suites that a standard HH free night couldn't be gotten and the points required were hundreds of thousands. That is why I kind of forget about it as an alternative. Also, since you need July 15th which is a Monday night the free Weekend Anniversary Night that you get with the Amex Aspire card cannot be applied.
