I'm a resale owner only -- why can't I book Boston or Charleston?

I search everyday, a few times a day. There is never any availability.

Do I need to purchase a small developer contract to allow my resale points to allow us into those two locations?

PS -- we just came back from Destin Majestic Sun and New Orleans Le Belle Maison -- they were both very nice! We are headed to Bonnet Creek Presidential 2-bedroom end of January. We are so excited.

I am a VIP Platinum Member and do not show any for Charleston and Boston.

The problem with Charleston it is a Hotel 60 day notice needs to given and used through Plus Partner that is why it is not showing as available on the site per the representative. The representative just transferred me over to Wyndham Travel to make a booking.

Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill is a Hotel also, per the Representative.

He would not check Bently Brook for me. Just transferred the call to Wyndham Travel.

As I recall, too, in addition to having next to no inventory available to Wyndham owners, the associate hotels have kind of ridiculously high points costs. If you wanted to stay in those cities, you'd be better off booking for cash, hopefully using the corporate discount code.

One of yndhams goals, because they think thats what we want is more vacation choices. They way they put it is... "More Dots on the Map" so they make some of the wyndham hotels available to us as associate resorts.. Or at least they say they do.. There is never anything available to reserve...but at least its a dot on the map... Its helpful in their sales presentations

Boston can we booked using wyndham rewards points. I transferred a lot of of timeshare points to wyndham reward points a few years ago.

I found no availability via the Wyndham Timeshare website, like others for Charleston. I did, however, take a reservation in Charleston with Reward Points to the final submit on a couple of days in April, without issue. Good use of Reward Points.

No. As Ron points out, they are offering the hotels in order to put dots on the map in order to answer the frequent question in sales -“is there a resort in X”.

So they can answer - “sure we have a resort in X”! And not tell you that it is really a hotel, they are hard to book, and that for the pts needed for three nights in a hotel room there you probably could book a 2BR oceanview presidental in Hawaii for a week.

If you have II, there is also the Marriott Custom House timeshare. Great location.
