Yeah, its a game changer all right. I can't set up a getaway alert. I'm looking at a handful of resorts for mid March in Orlando.

I set up the travel dates, added the resort, click Create Alert and I get a pop up that states " no resort company records found according to this criteria" Like it is more of a search than a set up.

Anyone with a trick on how to get this to work?

Make sure your travel date range isn’t too far apart. I think about two months is max. Not 100% sure about range but I know if it’s too far apart it won’t work.

Click the 3 bars in the upper left hand corner.
Select Getaway Alerts
Orange bar: Create a new alert
Give it a name (e.g. Orlando)
Enter start date
Enter end date
Select bedroom sizes (or leave as default "all".)
Press Add to select destination:
I enter resort codes, but you could enter resort names, or cities.
MCP
Marriott Cypress Harbour appears
Select it, Apply.
Add to select the next resort code:
MGV
Marriott Grande Vista appears
Repeat as necessary.
When complete, press Done.
Create Alert.

Got it working - thanks.

I think I may have been missing the "apply" button.

I like this feature and set it up. How does it notify you if it finds a match?

You hear a ding on your phone, and a notification appears (assuming you have allowed notifications in "Settings"). You log in, and the resorts/dates which match your search are displayed in Orange, labeled View Results underneath.

FYI:
Just below that, I found another feature which actually helped me.
A couple of weeks ago, I logged in to alerts, and I saw the My Upcoming Trips section. There was a resort there I had never seen before. Sure enough, I had been confirmed to that resort overnight or early in the morning, but had not received the email.
Hopefully, I would have found it when logged on to Interval later, but this was the first place I spotted that confirmation, and it allowed me to cancel within the 24 hr time period.

To the right of that is View All Trips, and all upcoming confirmations are displayed there. I make it a habit to quickly scan that section when I am in the app.

I can’t figure out how to get it to notify me even under settings? I don’t see where to click to get notifications? I have an alert set up but I wasn’t notified but I see it matched. Thanks

If it matched then you must have had a request in. Requests are different from Getaway alerts.
For Getaway alerts you need to be logged in to the App on a phone or mobile device and then select the 3 bars on the top left to get to the menu. Then Select getaway alerts and it will take you to a screen where there is the option to create a new alert.
This is only a process to alert you, it does not book it or put it on hold, so you may often find that by the time you have logged in, it has gone and you just get a white screen.
All the best.

If you have a getaway alert set up, it should just come through on your phone.
