Aloha,

If the thread title applies to you and you did not delete without reading the email I just finished sending to all KBV owners, then it is almost certain that the KBV resort manager, Grand Pacific, does not have your correct email. I am attaching a pdf of an email I sent (manually) the previous few days to all KBV owners whose correct email is known by Grand Pacific. It explains why it is particularly important that you vote in this and future elections.

In addition to voting, I encourage you to provide Grand Pacific with a valid email so you can receive BOD newsletters, other KBV communications and BOD candidate messages.

p.s. for those Tuggers reading this post for whom the thread title does not apply, the KBV annual election ballot includes a QR code and typed web link pointing to this KBV Public Square forum

Would this apply to KBV owners who enrolled their weeks in Wyndham’s points program? Or does Wyndham control their votes now? Some years ago my dad enrolled his EOYO week with Wyndham; he recently deeded it over to my brother and his wife.

Aloha,
While KBV owners who enrolled in Club Wyndham do pay the maintenance fees to Wyndham, they retain ownership of the original deeded interest and should be receiving a ballot. We live in the Seattle metro area and just received our ballot in Thursday 4/4/19 mail. I believe the mail originates in California but I am not sure if it is all dropped at the Post Office on the same day or over a handful of days. If your brother doesn't receive his ballot by early next week, he should contact the resort manager, Grand Pacific. Given his bills come from Wyndham, I'm not sure who in Grand Pacific would be the best point of contact.; post again or PM me if he doesn't get a ballot and I'll work on getting an answer to the best point of contact.

Yes, Club Wyndham points owners with deeds at KBV receive their ballot just like all other owners.

Thanks. I found out Saturday that my dad received the proxy/ballot on Friday, addressed to him and my late mother, so apparently Grand Pacific hasn’t been informed of the ownership change yet. Frustrating to me, instead of forwarding the proxy/ballot to my brother, he signed it and mailed it in! At least he emailed a scanned copy of it to all of us, so my brother can contact GP directly and update their records.

BTW toward the end of last year my dad received a bill for MFs in arrears from GP. My brother has been paying them to Wyndham ever since they enrolled the week, which my dad intended him to use. I explained to them what had transpired between Wyndham and GP, and I believe my brother was going to contact them but I haven’t heard anything more. Guess it got worked out.
