Hi! I am new to this forum and am looking for advice on how to rent out our Hawaiian timeshare. How would I go about doing this?

Thank you!

You can advertise your timeshare in the TUG Marketplace - You must join TUG to post Ads ($15) but the Ad is free.

Join TUG: https://saas.shopsite.com/tug2/tugsecurepayment.html

Marketplace: https://tug2.com/timeshare-classifieds/

Renting Articles: https://tug2.net/timeshare_advice/free-timeshare-owner-advice-articles.html#rent

Here is a summary:

1. Reserve a popular date - the highest demand month of the year is July and Saturday is the most popular check-in date. (If you can't get July - then I'd try for late June or early August at this point in time.)

2. Review other Ads to determine what a competitive price is for the same month/resort/unit size/view as your rental. www.redweek.com is another good place to do pricing research and to post you Ad.

3. Write an Ad with a complete description of the week you have for rent.

4. Decide how you are going to collect payment from the renters - PayPal is often used.

5. Choose a rental agreement from the TUG Advice page (linked above) and adapt it to your rental terms.

6. Post your Ad and get ready to answer renter's questions via email and/or phone.
