HICV rental reservation questions...

Hi Everyone,

I have rented at Orange Lake Resort (FL) from an HICV owner and I have some questions...
1) I have a reservation number, but I can't seem to figure out how to check it on my own - anything I try leaves me having to enter owner information. Is there any way I can check this on my own? Is there a number I can call and would they easily release the information to me?
2) If I were to request an extra night, would this count against the owner in any way? I wouldn't want that.
I think if I could get through to the resort anything else I want to know could easily be answered by them.

No where to check the reservation number online. You will need to call the resort and they can look at the reservation. As for adding a day that will have to be done on your own. You may have to switch rooms for the extra day but the resort can sometimes accommodate you so you don't have to move.

If they have added your name to the reservation, when you call they should release the information to you. If the reservation has not been put in your name yet, they shouldn't release any information to you.

I put in a Guest name and called the resort and within a few seconds the resort had the guest name in their system.

Just call the resort. There are multiple areas in Orange Lake, but I do not know if they have separate check in areas and front desk numbers. It has been decades since I checked in at Orange Lake.
