I'm looking for a week in mid september. Currently there's nothing showing for Lagoon Tower or Grand Waikikian. Do weeks so show up later on or should I just try booking Big Island instead.

Thanks for your feedback in advance

I would book Big Island at this point. HHV fills very quickly and you're already past the 9 months reservation date, so HHV is likely spoken for.

Additionally, it's Gold Season, so there's intense pressure for those lower Point weeks.

Accordingly, don't expect HHV to show any more availability and I suggest you book Big Island while its still available (Big Island is wonderful -- you will enjoy it).

Best,

Greg

You can always check and see if it opens up. For New Years, I checked 4-5 times a day for extra rooms in Vegas. I got what I wanted, but it takes patience and diligent checking.

Great advice, Greg. My wife always enjoyed Maui, but now she's really enjoying the Big Island.

I've seen weeks pop up for HHV after the 9-month mark--and booked them. But there's no guarantee. So you might want to book the Big Island and keep watching for HHV until you need to book airfare.
