Family with older teens thinking of trading in RCI for Craigendarroch for mid/late-June 2020. Seeking recommendations of good day trips for unique Scottish scenery and exploring the Highlands in depth. I read the prior Craigendarroch posts re. Braemer castle, etc. I'm also wondering about hiking in the Craig and how it compares scenery-wise to US mountains such as in Vermont and NH. Driving over to Kyle of L to get to Isle of Skye?
Also wondering if Coylumbridge would be a better fit for us, as we could hop on the train to Kyle? I believe I'd need to get a rental for that, because I don't recall many RCI deposits. And, how is Coylumbridge since the hotel has been sold? How easy and cost of access to amenities? Thanks, Elaine
