The replacement week would have a flex limit if you cancel during flex. No flex limit if you cancel before you get to flex. The travel must be completed (not started) by the time you cancel the week. So if you want to travel in July 2019 you might want to wait until early august to cancel and the reservation should be for November or December.

This is such great info! I'm faced with the same situation -- two deposits that are going to expire by the end of this year. I deposited Maui weeks, so losing one would be painful!

I waited until October and received a replacement week which now expires next October.. The Interval rep that I have used for years told me that when I trade the replacement week, it is final. I can not retrade it. However, I noticed that I was offered eplus for $59 when I modified my request. Can a replacement week be retraded and does eplus work for a cancelation week. The week being exchanged is a Marriott enrolled week.
