I had my heart set on Bonnet Creek but now that im sensing those hopes dwindling im looking for other similar options. Traveling with a 13 and 14 year old so things they can venture off to walking is a plus. 2 bedroom. We are going to Disney but that's not the main focus.
Currently im seeing the Hiltons (Parc Soleil, Seaworld, Tuscany) Vistana, Summer Bay and Orange Lake
According to the reviews Orange Lake East is up there with Disney so that's interesting me.

Tuscany is pretty nice. Get building 6 and you're right next to a nice shopping mall the kids could hang out in (there's a gate in the wall between Tuscany and the mall), and they have a nice pool area, not far from Disney and a Publix right across the street.

Do the Hiltons have a resort fee for exchanging in? Vistana is also a nice option for that age range and doesn't have a resort fee. Lots of pools, basketball courts, tennis and other action activities on resort. Our two oldest are around that age and they always find other kids to hang out with while we're there.

No idea on others but Orange Lake does have a free shuttle that goes to all areas inside the resort
Have always seen a lot of kids there when we travel there

... which is, IMHO, what makes the place dangerous to one's wallet.
But not more so than WDW (the most magical place in which to spend $$).
