HELP - Question with booking weeks 12 months in advance at Mountainside

Okay - here is the problem. Beginning at 9:00.01 a.m. and refreshing every 3 seconds, Marriott Mountainside never showed availability today. Finally when a representative answered the phone at 9:07 am, all availability was gone.

I have experienced this exact same problem now for 10 straight weeks while trying to get a ski week next year at Muntainside. The weeks just never show up after refreshing the calendar every 3-4 seconds beginning even before 9:00 am and continuing until a rep answers the phone to inform me there is no availability left.

Could someone chime in and shed some light on this. This problem only seems to happen with Marriott Mountainside. :mad:

For the first time ever in the 4 years that I have not been able to reserve online. I'm trying for Shadow Ridge and I logged on way before 9 AM EST. At first all the weekends through March 6th were available. Then, at exactly 9 am I hit refresh all all the weekends disappeared and I couldn't see anything available after Feb 11th. So, there is no way within a few seconds those weeks disappeared. Hopefully, something will be available later today. I don't have time to call right now. Luckily, the Indian Well Tennis Tournament is 2 weeks in Palm Springs. So, I guess, I'll be calling next week instead.

Could this be in online system error/issue? It does seem the site has changed sometime this year. It looks different than I remember it (I last checked around May 2009)

Maybe someone can let a Marriott Vacation Club advisor know.

I left feedback with the icon at the bottom of the screen. I just went back on and Fri to Fri check-in was available and all those other weeks I couldn't see became available. So, since my event week is really only 10 days I took the Fri to Fri.

Go to your check availibility page and on the bottom right corner you should see a symbol like [+] with the word "feedback" beneath it. Just click that.

However, I just noticed they now have a message on the first page saying you may experience delays due to maintenance updates. Now, what moron would schedule a maintenance during the day on a check-in day especially one like Spring Break weeks. Seriously, somebody at Marriott has missed the boat by a mile.

Folks have been posting on TUG for weeks about problems with the MVCI site, and that warning on the first page has been up for at least a week and half now. It sure is aggravating, but is there any time that would be a good time for maintenance?
