Does anyone have recommendations? Looking for a private guided tour with bent towards photography.

Please check cruise critic website and look under St. Maarten for tours. This website is free and will give you some excellent information about St. Maarten (French & Dutch sides).

Check out Seagrape Tours. They do groups of 6 or fewer and focus on nature or historical tours. I haven't used them personally but have seen good comments and photos of their groups. They are back in operation after the downturn of the hurricane. They would probably do a private tour as well.

Here's their website https://seagrapetours.com/and they have reviews on Trip Adviser.
