When I go into Interval's Resort Directory for Nuevo Vallarta it shows the Grand Mayan as having a resort code of MY2.
However, when I go into the Exchange section of II and select the Nuevo Vallarta region to see what resorts are available for trade during my 'test' time frame (I selected 3/9/19-3/28/29) I see the Grand Mayan is listed twice: Once as MY2 and once as MYN. The descriptions and photos of both are identical, and the only thing I see as being different is that MYN only has units available to trade through the last week of 2019, whereas MY2 has units available over the whole time frame.
I called II and asked what the difference was and was given an explanation that it 'usually' had to do with a difference in buildings. I said I didn't think that was correct and asked to speak with someone with more knowledge about GM NV...somehow my call got disconnected in the transfer ;-)
Anyway, does anyone know what the difference is between GM NV MY2 and MYN?
Inquiring minds....
Thanks,
Steve
