Got an upgrade yesterday, think 12 notices from Wyndham was a bit overkill

Not sure what was up yesterday. I have never received that many notifications for a single upgrade. I got 6 notices delivered yesterday around the 12:36 am and then today I received 6 again at about 9:29 am. All for the same reservation, all of the notifying me of the upgrade I received.

Overkill. Yes.

Same here. 13 months in ... and the website works like crap!! Some reservations don’t show up, others show twice. Can’t reserve a room in my wife’s name. Reserved ONE room in Poconos, tried to reserve a second - was told via computer I had more than ten units for those dates at that resort. I have ONE. Website is CRAP. But Extra Holidays website is working fine!

I got an upgrade but no notice - in fact, I never got a confirmation of the initial reservation. It was available to see in my account so I didn't worry about it. I looked at my account the day before I was to check in and saw it had been upgraded or I guess I would have just been surprised when I checked in.

Maybe they were super excited that the auto upgrade worked for once, so they had to make sure you knew it.

I've see many flavors in the last couple of weeks. 1. I had a 1br selected for upgrade, and found a 2br available in the system. 2. I had a 1br that auto upgraded and received 12 notices just as you described. 2. I had a 1br that auto upgraded and I received zero notices.

A little off-topic, but I thought I would share...

Every time I make a reservation, I get two (2) e-mail confirmations from Wyndham...one in my name and one in my wife's name...for the same reservation...which on the website is always in my name...because I cannot book it in her name initially (the website will not allow it). Both of our names are on the deed...

Go figure...

Rather than wait for the automatic that was overdue, I cancelled and rebooked for an additional day and then auto to the two bedroom deluxe . They must have been behind trying to get out the new directory.

Yeah, the memo came out in april of 2017 in the form of the member directory supplement.

It doesn’t work all that great as you can tell from this post. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

True! Of course it simply reversed the glitch they programmed into the website a month or two ago. But at this point, it’s good to have even a small victory.

It actually appears to be working. It did not work on Monday when I last tried. But went all the way through to Captcha box today! Wow, a basic right of ownership that is now on my account. Not sure if it got applied to each Bonnet Creek contract but am hopeful.
