Travelling with friends to Kaanapali for spring break. Looking for discounts on golf for a Mom and her teenage son, travelling with us. Also any info on which courses, etc...I'm a once a year golfer so you may need to dumb it down for me.

Ask your resort, they may have discounts.

If you need clubs or other supplies you may want to consider Jimmy’s Golf Club Rentals. Cheaper than course rental and delivery and pickup are included in price.

I have played Kaanapali Kai (easier but fewer ocean views) and Kaanapali Royal (more difficult but more ocean views as you play). These are part of Kaanapali Resort and if you are staying there you can get a slight discount. Kaanapali Resort includes the Westin Kaanapali timeshares. I believe Nanea and MOC are part of it too but not 100% certain.

Also, last two years at WKORV a free round of golf was one of the choices if you did an Owner’s Update. Last year it included the club rental at the course. I played Kai the first year and Royal last year. Clubs were Nike clubs.

Thanks a bunch. We're actually at WKORV so this might work out well.

A lot of courses in Hawaii also offer "keiki" rates for junior golfers, ranging anywhere from a discount off the regular adult rate to free green fees for the junior with a paying adult. I recommend checking what your target courses are offering for keiki rates.
