Star Island Resort and Club - Week 31

4 miles from Magic Kingdom!!

Maintenance Fee for 2018 was $1,100. First use would be 2019.

Can be split into two 1 bedroom deposits. I have exchanged with II, DAE, and SFX Resorts.

With DAE and SFX I have always received an additional bonus week so when I split up the units I am getting 4 weeks through those two exhange companies.

I will pay for the closing.

Have you been able to get any of the higher end resorts with your SPX exchange, i.e. HGVC, Four Seasons or Marriott?

I honestly haven't tried. I've only had the timeshare for a few years and split the deposits between DAE, SFX, and II. With SFX I usually like to check the online exchange where you can see the availability and choose from them. I found I am too impatient to wait for some requests. To me it seems like you can usually tell how often something becomes available by seeing how many reviews they have of each resort. The ones with the most reviews seem to be the ones that become available.
