Good lunch place in Palm Springs - Lulu California Bistro. Sister restaurant in Rancho Mirage is called Acqua. These 2 are definitely fresh and clean quality options.
Our regular lunch place is the French Corner Cafe at Palm Desert.

Longtime favorites of ours as well.
Within walking distance = JW Marriott. Lots of great dining options there. Rockwood Grill has limited but great lunch. Their buffet breakfast has a good spread and is always good. Mikado Japanese Steakhouse has good teppanyaki (grilling in front of you) and Fisherman's Landing is always good too. We normally drive if we are not dining at JW Marriott.
