The rules seem to change, and I guess I haven't kept up....
I tried to book the Carlsbad Inn this morning. I got an error message saying I had ineligible TPU. So, why was my combined TPU ineligible for this exchange (I have plenty of points)? I questioned this on Chat. The rep told me I was ineligible because I do not own there-- "only owners can book beyond 120 days out, and you have ineligible TPU". I told him I own a week and cited it. Then he told me my combined TPU could not be used for this because I do not have a Carlsbad Inn week credit in my TPU.
It used to be, if you owned at any coastal Grand Pacific, you could exchange back in. And, what's this about a 120 day filter? Does the 1 in 4 exclusion still apply? except for owners?
It's so rare that I see any GP units for exchange anymore.
What are the RCI rules for exchanging into GP coastal weeks?
