I just found out it was canceled after the 1st season.

I really enjoyed the show... one of the few sitcoms that actually made me laugh out loud.

For those not familiar, it was centered around a group of friends living in a retirement community. I guess not enough people 'of a certain age' tuned in to keep it going?

Cast: David Alan Grier, Vicki Lawrence, Martin Mull, Leslie Jordan

That's too bad. I liked it. It also had guest stars like Jamie Farr, Ed Begley Jr, Patrick Duffy, Robert Pine and many other stars from old shows.

I suppose we were among the few that enjoyed this comedy. They should have given it another season just to see if it would catch on.

I would have also liked to see The Kids Are Alright, Life in Pieces and Speechless continue. The actor who portrayed JJ in Speechless was great.

I guess the singing, dancing and various talents shows are the "thing" now. :ponder:
