I knew Diamond was charging daily fees to RCI exchangers, but I didn't realize how much. I saw a March 2021 week at Scottsdale Links that fits my spring break that year. $24 a day on top of exchange fees and the cost of the relinquished TPU/points. It looksl like a nice enough place, but that just seems out of line. Thanks, but I'll keep looking.

The daily fees are getting ridiculous, and not just RCI. I exchanged in Hanalei Bay through GPX and had $250 in fees and taxes. My only consolation is that it still works out less than the maintenance fees if I owned there

Yes, the Hilton resorts all charge at least $25 per day in fees now, even the Orlando Hiltons. How in the world can people afford the $239 exchange fee, the fees they pay on their own resort, and $25 per day additional? Join II and don't pay those fees for Marriott and Vistana, which are just as nice as Hilton.

I almost did an exchange for Hanalei Bay with Diamond Resorts - but the same fees were there, too. I switched to a different resort. Bummer.

Fees should be combined with the exchange so people can see what they buying upfront. The hotel industry is horrible with all their resort fees. It makes finding the true cost a night's stay difficult, which is, of course, their intent.
