Are there ever daeOptions that are actually available as exchange to Gold advantage members? I have yet to ever see the EX icon in any resort images on the website in the last year or so. Or am I not looking in the right place?

No - we are only able to offer our local region resorts on exchange as well as rental - this includes resorts in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. International resorts can be booked as rentals only.

TO BOOK AS A RENTAL
daeOptions RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL MEMBERS. Book as many rental weeks as you like for yourself, family or friends and only pay the discounted rental rate - no exchange required, no more to pay.

TAKE daeOptions ON EXCHANGE
TAKING some regional daeOptions resorts ON EXCHANGE IS A BENEFIT OF GOLD ADVANTAGE. Simply use your credits or deposit a week, and ONLY pay the daeOptions exchange fee - no additional rental fee applies. Exchanges can only be booked by phone, so please call our customer service centre to arrange.

Apparently you are looking in the wrong place. Per the DAE info page you have to call to see which DAEOptions are available to exchange into and even then it is limited to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands .

I love Australia and the Pacific Islands! Haha I know they can only be booked by phone and I am Gold Advantage. When I go into daeOptions though I have never actually seen one with the EX Icon in the resort image like it states on the daeOptions page.
